With all the arbitrary phases and levels of pandemic threats being announced, I thought it would be fitting to do a little swine flu edition. Note the unfortunate juxtaposition of the liturgy with the spoken announcement.

ReplyDeleteI wish that I'd been at church for the feast of St Mary Mag - we have a pretty awesome icon of her that was comissioned at the election of Presiding Bishop Katherine in the ECUSA - and I'm sure that its symbolism/history was referenced during the mass.
That was ridiculous - I laughed - I cried! Ok so that last part was a lie.....
